Whiten My Teeth

Have you been smiling in the mirror, and realized that your teeth aren’t as white as they should be? Find yourself thinking “How can I whiten my teeth?” I have tried several different products on the market, and finally found a combination that is not only cost effectively cheaper than most the products out, but that also shows results quicker than the leading brands. I have also found some holistic methods for whitening teeth that have worked better than I would of thought, and better than most of the other methods I have heard and tried.

One way I have found to whiten my teeth is by using a mixture of baking soda and hydrogen peroxide, which are both common household items found in most bathrooms. By mixing two spoons of baking soda with two to three spoons of hydrogen peroxide, a kind of compound is made that has the consistency of toothpaste. By brushing with this mixture, you can whiten your teeth noticeably after three daily sessions. Take care not to swallow the mixture, to brush the tongue too roughly, and to rinse the mouth out well afterwards.
The second method I have found to whiten my teeth is to use a whitening agent toothpaste such as Colgate or aqua fresh. These toothpastes have a higher grit count, which makes the tooth brushing easier. If one type doesn’t work for you, then I would recommend trying a different brand, as the different formulas do have differing effects, for example Colgate did not whiten my teeth as well as aqua fresh.

Another and more holistic method I used to whiten my teeth at home is strawberries and baking soda. It might sound strange, but even dentists admit that the malic acid found in strawberries can be used to clean teeth. By blending one whole strawberry and half a teaspoon of baking soda, you can create a decent tasting teeth whitening concoction that will work wonders for your teeth. Of the three listed methods, this was the one that showed most results as I tried to whiten my teeth.

In conclusion, whitening your teeth at home is a simple practice that can be cheaper and easier than going to a dentist. You just have to stop and ask, “How do I whiten my teeth?” Whether you decide to go with a dentist or a at home remedy, you should now know how to “whiten my teeth!”
